We are hiring a Legal Counsel for a comprehensive financial group providing full- spectrum of financial services in Hong Kong. Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all legal matters relating to the business unit of Securities Brokerage, Corporate Finance (IPO, ECM, DCM), Asset Management, Direct Investment.
Review legal documents in relation to issuance, distribution and sales of difference products
Maintain an organized filing system for legal documents;
Provide professional legal advice to different parties, respond to legal enquiries from internal departments;
Ensure the company is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
Coordinate with external lawyers and participate in ad hoc projects;
Directly report to the Department Head.
Job Requirements:
Degree holder in law (LLB/JD) or equivalent with at least 5 years PQE, HK qualified solicitor is preferred (but not a must);
Good knowledge in financial products and services;
With experience in supporting investment banking business will be an advantage;
A good team player with excellent communication skills and well organized;
Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English (including Mandarin).
