how much are key fobs worth? The worth of a key fob depends on its condition, brand, and functionality. Used OEM key fobs in good condition can sell for 30-60% of their original price, while aftermarket or damaged fobs may have minimal value. Smart keys with push-to-start or remote access features tend to retain higher resale value. Online marketplaces like eBay or automotive forums are good places to sell spare key fobs. If your key fob is no longer needed, recycling programs may offer small compensation for the electronic components. Always erase any stored vehicle data before selling to prevent unauthorized access.
